Thank you for visiting the Casa Cassbaugh website. The Cozy Cabin is available for short and long term rentals. It is isolated, yet within driving distance to the towns of Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree & 29 Palms. Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta & Indio are 55 - 60 miles away as are Cabazon, Banning and Beaumont. Between guests stays, the interior is thoroughly sanitized and aired out before the next guests arrive. We follow all of the COVID-19 sanitation & greeting precautions to keep our guests safe. We have a healthy respect for your privacy as do the neighbors.

The front porch is the perfect place to enjoy the view, read and relax, or hang the hammock and take a nap. Friends often join us in the afternoon to share a refreshing beer and chat. For us it's been a haven and we've built beautiful lifetime memories.

It sits on the edge of five acres overlooking Pipe's Wash, a protected area perfect for hikers and photographers. The quiet surroundings are conducive to creative thought and introspection for writers, poets, designers & creative minds. It's the perfect place for those working remotely. It's quiet!
Flamingo Heights is only 10 miles from the town of Yucca Valley, 30 from 29 Palms and 15 miles from Joshua Tree and the National Park. Cabazon shopping malls and the Indian Casino are an hour away, as are Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City and Palm Desert. A 15 minute drive takes you to Pappy and Harriet's and Pioneer Town with the 1946 movie set where many Western movies were filmed. La Copine Kitchen, 5 minutes away on Old Woman's Spring Road, is a pleasant oasis in the middle of a barren food desert. Chef Niki and Clare provide pre-ordered take-out gourmet creations weekly. For informal casual breakfast and lunch outdoors, The Coffee Shop is also 5 minutes away. Hero's Market includes a breakfast and burger café and small grocery store & Dollar General carries a variety of often needed household and food items. |
